JOHN SCOTT MOORINGjoined Abshier Webb & Donnelly in May 2005 and is responsible for the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities brought to AWD through clients. Prior to joining AWD, John Scott was co-owner and operator of Blackmon Mooring Steamatic, a world-wide disaster recovery company. In his role as the owner of the BMS, John Scott was a board member and helped assist the on-going operations of BMS and subsidiaries. At the same time, John Scott was responsible for the South Texas Regional operations based in San Antonio. He held various positions from sales management to general management and P&L responsibilities. John Scott also serves as the Deal Flow Chairman of the Houston Angel Network, the largest angel group in Texas. He also serves on the executive steering committee, which is responsible for the growth of the network. Mr. Mooring received a Bachelors in Business Administration with focus on management from The University of Texas and an MBA from Rice University with primary focus on finance. |
